NOT KNOWING WHO WE ARE TALKING TO ... PASTOR FOX ON PRAYER 24/7/2016

Well, that's how it is ... You can say you understand God
 - but inside you know that you don’t … you know you can’t  - We are just people 
… how are we meant to understand the nature of the divine?
How are we meant to even begin to understand the mind of God? … how are even meant to understand ‘WHO’ God is? … In fact, how can we even begin to understand ‘WHAT’ God is?
Basically, the answer to all those questions is
 - “We aren’t meant to know or understand”.
But we can pray … and we should pray.

We offer our pain, and our joy, and our concerns to God  … we send petitions to somewhere we can’t know 
… to someone we can’t understand...
This is Pastor Fox's sermon (the St John's version) preached this morning based on Abraham talking to God about Sodom, and Jesus teaching the Lord's Prayer ....
