WHAT GOD LOOKS LIKE - SERMON FOR 2ND SUNDAY OF CHRISTMAS 3 JAN 2016 AT ST JOHN'S TANUNDA

In which Pastor Fox (that's me, folks!) relates a story from the reading lectern (the Christmas Tree being uncomfortably close to the pulpit), and talks about seeing the unseeable.

God is not an old man sitting in the clouds ... God is not an old man at all ... How do we define this inexplicable, undefinable mystery we like to call "God"?
John the Apostle tells us:-
"No one has ever seen God.
    God the only Son,
who is at the Father’s side,
        has made God known."
